How did vinylux do?

So here's the scoup on the new vinylux weekly polish. It went on Matt with a strange texture. It reminded me a little of painting my nails with white out in jr high. Lol. It drys very quickly. Yep that's right 30 seconds and dry! I was thinking it might be somewhat like Shellac but no dice . It's a completely different look. Not as shiny or impressive. Would I use it ? yes I would , before use regular nail polish. But Shellac comes out a clear winner.

Vinylux from CND ... What do we think?

Applying new vinylux to chan's natural nail. Her nails are a bit bumpy and damaged lets see how they turn out. So far the polish is drying very fast with a Matt finish. We are usung cnd lobster roll. The color seems much more orange than the sister shellac lobster roll. Stay tuned!

Infused water..

Each day in my in home salon, I prepare fresh infused water to serve to my clients. Today's looks especially good! I'm serving up mixed berry and mint water. If you have any great recipes for infused water, comment below. If I use your recipe I will give you a prize. I love to try new things! Mmm. I love summer. This water is made with frozen berries and mint. the mint is just begging to grow in my yard . I can't wait till its all fresh and home grown! Don't forget to " stay friends" and follow my blog!

Sewnots!

Sewknots ( our new club name) are sewing and gabbing! At my girl friends quilt shoppe in Logan Utah . they have the most darling quit space . My girl friends attic. Debbie is shopping for future project.. As if! We don't have enough " future projects". Ha ha .. Cheryl is sewing on a darling row quilt designed by Lori Holt. And christy is making a darling seasonal quilt! I am working on a "flower girl" quilt by thimble blossoms ! Soooo darling check out my fabrics. Teals, yellows, grays and corals! I'm going to love this when its done!

Yay happy girl time!

So we start out girls weekend off at The Center street grill ! Mmmm. Home of the best burgers in northern Utah! I indulged in the blue bacon burger, Debbie loved the not so traditional burger joint grub of roast beef and mashed potatoes and Cheryl had the most delish BBQ bacon burger. We should have just enough room for a little late night snack .oh, now to decide what quilting snacks to grab before we head back for a night of sewing and gabbing.
