Working on a new design a fall wreath

I have been Sewing, stitching, and painting .  I'll be working on finishing the wreath tomorrow. Can't wait to see the finished project tomorrow.  

Bringing out the beauty in her rosy cheeks with decoart paints .  Watch for the pattern soon .  

Dressing her and putting on her hair.  Sure looks like fall to me!  

Checking her out on the design wall.  I think she looks good.  Can't wait to see her on the wreath.  

Fall is in the air.

So how lovely is this weather?  I have to say fall is one of my favorite seasons.  We'll, okay every season is my favorite. Lol. I can't imagine living somewhere the seasons do not bring change. Each season is completely magical in it's own right here in Utah. Winters first snow storm is like a new magic show every year! Sledding and snowmen are some of my favorite memories from days gone by   When my children were young.  I love the spring miracle   of all the buds bursting out of the soil  and the look of  a beautiful green newly sprouted field with the snow capped mountains in the back ground. 

   I love the heat of the summer with the ripe Cherri's fresh veggies, and the beautiful lakes full of cool water beckoning you to jump in and cool off.  

   Then there is fall. Beautiful fall!  It doesn't get much better than this.  Cool nights and warm days.  Color in the mountains and all the great  things that  come to us to harvest .

Pumpkins, squash, apples..  Today was a dream of a fall day. Spent with mom and my Daughter  Brooke , picking apples from moms old house, dehydrating them,

 making bird feeders with my grandson Kasen for those birds that have chosen to stAy for the winter.

We rolled apples and pine cones in peanut butter then in seeds.  And tied them with ribbon.. 

We made some yummy Carmel apple pie filling that we will spoon on our icecream this evening after dinner for a nice fall desert. 

 Mmm. I have to say ,  I appreciate all this beautiful Utah fall day has to offer me and my family.

I love this so much! I think I'll need ti make several and make my daughter a cute little throw for watching tv or snuggle up at the table for her morning coffee.  

The machine embroidery pattern is from kimber bell designs .  It's on her winter volume 1 cd .   If you ever come to Utah make sure you find my girlfriends quilt shoppe in Logan Utah. It's the cutest shoppe ever!  For fabric , it's a mixture from my scraps. ..  This is a great scrap buster and so easy.  If you'd like a tutorial please leave me. Comment.  :). 

Cathederal block pin cushion

I think I love the way a cathedral block looks!  This turned out super cute!  Love love love!!  Have you tried them out?  I got this darling fabric from my girlfriends quilt shoppe here in Logan Utah and I just felt inspired to make one.  I found the tutorial on Riley Blake's web site. Check them out, they always have the cutest patterns!  Anyway, thanks for stopping by and checking out the fun!

She loves to make mug rugs from kimberbell designs ..  And Kasen love to make up his own patterns and see on grandmas featherweight.  

And my feTgerweight is a perfect size for little hands!  Love these little folks!  

Yay. My craft room re-do is almost finished!

One of my walls with a book of one if my favorite designers Joanna Figueroa and a quilt I put together at our quilt retreat at the quilt barn in Kimberly Idaho.  It's a darling place and I'll definitely be returning there!  

This is the wall just above my very large cutting table.  My cutting table measures 36x80 inches.  I'll post later with better pictures and how I did that.  

I have been organizing and decorating!  It's been almost a year and I have to say I'm just like most everyone else..  I fizzled out.  Who knows how long it would have been if I had not been so inspired by my friends Debbie and Julie who have been posting the most fun pictures ever of their own sewing / craft studio journey.   Not to worry,  I'll post some pictures of their adorable rooms as well and if you can't wait for that.
